Co-located Nuclear Powered Data Centers

Overview

This project addressed the challenge of powering AI infrastructure with carbon free energy by designing and comparing co-located nuclear data center systems from reactor core to microprocessor chip. By modeling the systems on Engineering Equation Solver (EES), the work demonstrates how nuclear power can support cooling infrastructure and hyperscale computing facilities that can achieve grid independence.
